Therapeutic Mentoring

New Connections Therapeutic Mentoring Program, our Therapeutic Mentoring services, will be available to school-aged children (ages 4-17) in the New Haven and surrounding communities. Mentoring relationships will be built on a solid commitment to mutually-agreed upon therapeutic goals to be addressed through the child's involvement in the year-long program. The Therapeutic Mentors will facilitate opportunities where the child can increase self expression in an appropriate manner, through participation in the arts, sports and socialization groups. These activities will assist youth in building self-confidence and worth as well as appreciation, respect and acceptance of others.
